First Things First
,

So this is the first blog on the website you are on this very moment, it is also the first blog I have ever written, and so today i would like to ask ourselves a question; What is true Christianity?
Some girls are caught in the trap of thinking that true Christianity is when or if they wear modest clothing, no makeup, no jewelery, ect. So thus we must ask the question; What is true Christianity? We must agree that a true inner change must take place before the outward things come....
Here's an analogy:
We all know that the bible calls the Christian the branch and Christ the vine ( John 15:5 ). So lets just say that the branch can talk, reason, ect. And so one day the branch realizes that it is not connected to the vine and so he decides to connect himself. After doing so, he looks at his branch and flies into a panic because he has no fruit. He then remedies this by going down to the shops and buying some plastic fruit which he ties on his branch. He then sits back and thinks to himself,'Ah, that is how I am supposed to look.' Forgetting that without real fruit, the wind would come and the fruit would fall because he wasn't truly fixed to the vine.
So, sometimes we can get caught up with our outward appearances when our inward heart is not changed. In the analogy, all the branch had to do was look to the vine and the life giving sap would flow through it, and then the real fruit of a life with Jesus would form.
So if we can focus more on what Jesus did in His life, we will become more like Him without having to put on our own show of Godliness.
Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
