Hi girls!! Sorry I have been away so long. We will continue the series on the vision of Ellen White. So the next step of the journey we are on as Christians reads like this:

'We then thought of those who had not accustomed themselves to privations and hardships. Where were such now? They were not in the company. At every change, some were left behind, and those only remained who had accustomed themselves to endure hardships. The privations of the way only made these more eager to press on the the end.'

This is a short but very powerful paragraph! Those who were not accustomed themselves to hardships were not with the believers. How applicable is this to us! We can be so comfortable where we are in life and yet we are not with the true church! At every hardening of the way, some were left behind. We must accustom ourselves to trials and privations daily otherwise we will not inherit the crown of life. This will be the refining fire that will feel hard and unpleasant but in the end it will be to our greatest good. 

Christ let himself be crucified for our sake and we should feel privileged to bear even a small part of His burden. Our gratitude for His sacrifice should be so great that we wont feel the pain of trials. 

Let us all remember that trials and privations are good for us and that we can use them for our own good.
